Description
The 3M™ Fibre Disc Back-up Pad is made to drive and support fiber backed discs during sanding, grinding or finishing processes. This essential pad is designed to fit right angle sanders equipped for TN Quick Change style attachments.

- Longer disc life: resists back-up polymer softening in use for higher cut rate and extended abrasive disc life
- Hard density: hard density backing suitable for most high stock removal metalworking applications
- Available sizes: available in 115 mm (4 ½ inch), 125 mm (5 inch),150mm (6 inch ) and 180mm (7 inch) diameters to fit discs of the matched size
- Versatile usage: compatible with most m14 electric right angle grinders, and some pneumatic grinders
- Quick change: designed to be tightened and removed with commonly available pin spanners
- Medium density: available in medium flexibility (med-flex) polymer with flat surface abrasive disc support for conformability when refining and blending using finer abrasive grades and working with curved surfaces, cylindrical, and shaped objects.

Essential Support for Every Job Our 3M™ Fiber Disc Back-up Pads provide a sturdy support for fiber backed discs, which enhances the power of the abrasive when sanding, deburring and finishing. These pads are attached to a central shaft by our TN Quick Change attachment system, which is both strong and easy to change. Our 3M™ Fiber Disc Back-up Pads are made of a tough plastic material, which gives support evenly across the surface of the disc. These hard density back-up pads are strong yet still slightly flexible, which allows for smooth application of abrasive discs to metal surfaces.
